This painting was commissioned by Schnebly Redland's Winery in Homestead, Florida and  was reproduced into a large ceiling mural for their Visitors Center which is scheduled to open in November 2007.

Photos here of the installation and after,  the original painting in progress.

HERE'S WHAT THE PEOPLE ARE SAYING:

Posted on the Miami Herald website in response to Georgia Tasker's WALLFLOWERS article on the 14th of October, 2007

Lisa Remeny is destined to be discovered on an international basis by the contemporary art world one day very soon. As for the local Florida collectors who have not yet acquired her paintings, well, they may soon have to go to major New York galleries to acquire her paintings and thus have pay prices that will make today's valuations look like the bargains of the century !
I suggest all local media make an effort to meet the artist, visit her studio, and cover her success story now before they are embarassed by the national press.Rarely does an artist with this kind of talent remain a local celebrity for very long. She is about to see her star explode and those interested in collecting her art should act now before it's current price structure starts it's next step of elevation.

It is absolutely magnificent and what brilliant colors, plus the effect it has to have on a room and the lucky people who can see it in person. Frankly, I'm dumbfounded and practically speechless and not capable of even finding the right words to describe this innermost warmth and feelings I got from seeing and can only imagine what it must be like to actually be under it.
Fantastic thought and a great artist.who was able to give this concept the reality she achieved.
Cannot wait to see it in person. Thanks for this opportunity as well.
