Commission 2020 Oil Painting - New Morning

So there’s a good story here, behind this commission..

Once upon a time, I knew a sweet and beautiful little girl named Amber, and decades later, on a Sunday morning, I received a lovely email from her. It began..”Hi Lisa! So I’ve been waiting since I was a teenager to be able to say this ... I would love to commission a piece of your art!” She went on in such a humble way to ask if I would even have time or inclination to do so. Ha! But of course!

She shared with me some paintings in my archives that she and her husband loved, and then I was able to develop the idea from there. After we agreed, on size and terms, I lucked out and caught this sunrise on Biscayne Bay (of course I tuned it up quite a bit, and here we go!
